Data purpose: To provide the location of protected watersheds in order to convey that there are prohibitions and risks associated with land development activities such as commercial and industrial development, agriculture, residential development and forestry activities that can have an impact on the environment.

Data description: Watershed polygons are a graphical representation of watershed boundaries as defined in the Clean Water Act - Watershed Protected Area Designation Order. Attributes include municipality, primary and secondary treatment, Map ID and Watershed name.

Update requirements: On an ad hoc basis as new protected watersheds are designated or existing boundaries edited.
