Application purpose: To allow users to derive coordinates relative to the province's official datum and map projection.
Application description: The New Brunswick Control Network is accessible through a website. It has two main components:
- tools to retrieve information about the control monuments, and
- tools to download GPS data from the active control stations.
Application functionality:
- Search for control monuments,
- display sketches and photos of control monuments,
- display maps of control monuments,
- display status information on the active control stations, and
- download GPS RINEX files from active control stations.
Data requirements:
- Control survey network database
- GPS RINEX data collected at the Active Control Stations
Data update frequency:
- Control survey network database: as needed
- GPS RINEX data collected at Active Control Stations: hourly
