Forest Vegetation Management Program

Application purpose: To provide better information and awareness of forest vegetation management in NB. The Department of Energy and Resource Development (ERD) is a partner with the NB forest industry in Forestinfo.ca to improve public awareness and acceptance of forest herbicide use.

Application description: Map showing the location of areas proposed for silviculture herbicide treatment during the months of August and September.

Application functionality:

• Display areas proposed for silviculture herbicide treatment during the months of August and September
• View information about areas proposed for silviculture herbicide treatment: block ID, land manager, and area in hectares
• Provide better information and awareness of forest vegetation management in New Brunswick.
